Jakob Onayo is a mixed-media artist with emphases in drawing and sculpture installation. Currently living and working in Champaign, IL, his artwork ranges in themes from personality and sexuality to body image and religion. Jakob is pursuing his M.A. in Art Education. In his research, Jakob studies queerness, blackness, media as accessible educational tools, and teacher Identity. His aim is to create inclusive and engaging spaces through the use of art creation and pedagogy.
